Universitas Andalas (Padang)

University Andalas which was established in 1956 is located in Padang and is the 4th oldest university in Indonesia and the oldest university outside Jawa Island. It hosts the best referral hospital in West Sumatra, the M Djamil Hospital in Padang. The medical faculty had fully incorporated the Problem Based Learning in its teaching of medicine so as to be on par with international teaching standards.
